Encouraging someone to cry?

My partners mother died two days ago and she hasn't cried about it yet. She is upset obviously, and she is lethargic and down but she didn't cry at the funeral and she hasn't really expressed any strong feeling yet. Its like she has become an emotionless robot. She is lovely, but she is the type of person who hides how she truly feels and represses anger or sadness. I give her hugs and kisses and have talked about it with her, but she still acts emotionless and seems incapable of expressing her sadness. I really want to help her and make her happy again. How can I do this?
