Why do kids like me so much?

I am 21 years old.I love kids don't get me wrong but don't have any,as a teenager kids in the neighborhood and family members such as my little cousins and my stepsister and stepbrother host of cousins always wanted to be around me and babysit them.now everytime I go out and kids are there their waving and smiling and try to strike up conversations.I don't know maybe its something kids see in me that I don't see in myself.I find it annoying that the parents of the kids which are totally strangers look at me strange, but I be thinking I can't help if your kid is speaking to me.what do you think?
